Description:
A blurry and out-of-focus photograph of a creek winding between mountains near Fort Mears. The creek is viewed from a hilltop at in the lower left corner. Tall grasses line the bottom edge of the image and patches of snow cover the hillside and surrounding mountains. In the near distance, a creek winds and flows through a canyon. It enters frame along the lower right edge and winds through the center of the image, disappearing into the distance. At right, a steep mountainside, covered in patches of snow, rises from the creek and extends out-of-frame. A snow-covered mountains stands in the far distance at left.

A signpost stands beyond it in the near distance, left-of-center. It is viewed at an angle. Two signs are posted; they read, from the top down, "SABLE PASS," and "25 MILES SPEED LIMIT." Antlers decorate the post above and below the signs. Sable Pass stretches beyond the signs and into the distance. Snow-covered summits stand in the distance at right and in the far distance at left.
