- Santa Monica Civic Opera singers performing in "The Barber of Seville." The singers, wearing 18th century Spanish clothing, portray Count Almavida (dressed as a soldier), Bartolo, and Rosina (portrayed by Natalie Garrotto). The players are surrounded by a stage set recreating a room in Bartolo’s home. The set, painted with decorative paneled walls and a faux fireplace, is also decorated with end tables, chairs, a curtained window and candelabras. A pianist is visible from the orchestra pit. Performed at John Adams Junior High School, Santa Monica.
