SPANISH: Denise Y. Arnold realiza una grabación de la lectura del folleto titulado "Tata Inti" N°1, Ediciones Chunka, de abril 1991, escrito por Ahutu Qispi Wara. El documento es la historia en larga duración sobre Qaqachaka, desde el periodo de los incas hasta la actualidad. Ella inicia leyendo la parte 2 que trata sobre los incas y la relación con la familia Maraza, como Inca Tata Maraza, y así de la importancia de ellos en la historia de Qaqachaka. También menciona a la familia Chuqi (o Choque) y la distribución de tierras, y la lucha por la tierra durante la Colonia por los Maraza, y su participación en la Guerra del Chaco. Esta lucha por la propiedad de la tierra fecha desde inicios del siglo XX. Ella también menciona la lucha territorial entre Jukumani y Laymi.<br>ENGLISH: Denise Y. Arnold makes a recording of the reading of the pamphlet titled "Tata Inti" N°1, Chunka Editions, from April 1991, written by Ahutu Qispi Wara. The document is the long-term history of Qaqachaka, from the period of the Incas to the present. She starts by reading part 2 which deals with the Incas and the relationship with the Maraza family as Inca Tata Maraza, and so of their importance in the history of Qaqachaka. She also mentions the Chuqi (or Choque) family and the distribution of land, the fight for land during the Colony by the Marazas, and their participation in the Chaco War. This struggle for land ownership is from the beginning of the 20th century. She also mentions the fights between Jukumani and Laymi.

SPANISH: Profesor Nemesio Rodríguez es entrevistado por Juan de Dios Yapita y Denise Y. Arnold sobre su experiencia de enseñanza en Qaqachaka: 1. En 1996 llego a la escuela seccional de Ventuta como profesor para dictar clases. 2. El primer ingreso del transporte motorizado al pueblo de Qaqachaka. 3. La enseñanza en la región y las dificultades para los niños de aprender el idioma del castellano. 4. Los primeros años de historia de Qaqachaka. 5. La vestimenta regional de los jóvenes. 6. Las fiestas de la Candelaria, Cruz y Concepción. 7. La plaza de Qaqachaka y la introducción de los servicios básicos allí. 8. Los platos tradicionales de Qaqachaka. 9. Finalmente habla de la música del lugar y el uso de los instrumentos musicales del charango, pinkillu, guitarra y zampoña, en las fiestas.<br>ENGLISH: Profesor Nemesio Rodríguez is interviewed by Juan de Dios Yapita and Denise Y. Arnold about his experience teaching in Qaqachaka: 1. In 1996 he came to the Ventuta sectional school as a teacher. 2. The first entrance of motorized transport to the main village of Qaqachaka. 3. Teaching in the regional and the learning difficulties for children of the Spanish language. 4. The first years of Qaqachaka's history. 5. The regional dress of the young. 6. Señala que la puerta de la casa se debe construir al lado donde sale el sol (inti jalsu). 2. Las libaciones o ch'alla que se hacía para los lugares de pastoreo y descanso de los animales de rebaño. 3. Las libaciones para la casa como el nido del Cóndor y el Halcón (Kuntur Maman Tappa). 4. Menciona que antiguamente los milagros de los santos locales estaban divididos en dos; uno era para los hombres (chacha) y el otro para las mujeres (warmi). Los santos locales que hacian milagros para los hombres eran: 1. Yanakachi. 2. Guadalupe. 3. Turu Qari, y 4. Panakachi. Los santos lcoales que hacian milagros para las mujeres eran: 1. Mama Killakas. 2. Mamita Pituna. 3. Mamita Kapitana. 4. Wila Q'asa, y 5. Wila Q'awa. También relata que aparecieron otros santos locales que hacían milagros. Entre ellos están San Antonio, y las santas de Qalaqala y Aymaya.<br>ENGLISH: Lucía Quispe Choque is interviewed by Juan de Dios Yapita and Denise Y. Luego hablan sobre los consonantes para la articulación de las palabras y su significado, en tres grupos: as simples, P, T, K, Q, las aspiradas, Ph,Th, Kh, Qh, y las glotalizadas, P', T', K', Q'. 3. Finalmente, hablan de la variedad de significados que puede tener una palabra, que depende de los sonidos simples, aspirados o glotalizados, por ejemplo jupha significa quinua, pero jupa es la tercera persona; tantaña es irse, pero thantha es ropa usada y t'ant'a es pan.<br>ENGLISH: Enrique Espejo Sepera speaks with Juan de Dios Yapita and describes aspects of the Aymara language spoken in Qaqachaka. 1.
