Mji wa Fallujah uko katika mkoa wa Iraq wa al Anbar. Mshairi alisimamamia upande wa Wairaqi na wale watu walijiotolea wakati wa uvamizi, ambao anawanena “washujaa”. Shairi lina beiti kumi na moja na kina cha bahari chake kilimsumbua Ustadh Mau sana kwa sababu ni -ji. Mwisho wa tungo Ustadh Mau anaandika kwa kiarabu kuhusu mada ya shairi hili, tarehe yake na bahari yake kwa sababu alimaanisha kumpa rafiki yake Mwarabu ili asome shairi hili.<br>ENGLISH: This poem was written by Ustadh Mau in Arabic and Roman scripts. The poem was composed to commemorate the 2003 invasion of Iraq by USA. Fallujah is a city in the Iraqi province of Al Anbar. The poet was supporting Iraq and all the freedom fighters who volunteered during this invasion and whom he calls “the heroes”. The poem has eleven stanzas and its end-rhyme caused Ustadh Mau some troubles because it ends in -ji. At the end of this composition, Ustadh Mau writes in Arabic about the poem, its date of composition and its metre because he wanted to give this poem to an Arab friend to let him read and go through the poem.
