Text from negative sleeve: 731. Pine Creek, Calif. About 1930. A group on the creek. L to R: Mertie West, Will Shaw, Agnes Whitaker, H. H. West Jr, Forrest Whitaker. A small photo of our camp. We had to hang a big pail up and keep food in it to keep it away from ants. Also acted as cooler, as hung in the shade and was plenty cool at that altitude. 2 negatives.
