Text reads: Examiner. November 10, 1930. L. A. Children Plan Golden Rule Week, McAdoo and Banker Address Small Folk at Meeting. Children of all nationalities in Los Angeles yesterday began their preparations for the world observance of Golden Rule Week, December 7 to 14. To spur them on were the words of William Gibbs McAdoo, wartime Cabinet member, and Dr. John Willis Baer, Pasadena banker, both of whom addressed a gathering of tiny folk at 1550 West Washington street. The two men spoke briefly, explaining that the aim behind the coming week of observance is a desire to aid needy children in all lands, especially neglected parts of America. Most of the children were dressed in native costume. Among them were Mary Nakatsu, Japanese; Igore Lawb, Russian; Carlotta Chapman, Dutch, and Sarah Anjozian, Armenian.
