About this Collection
This collection includes one exterior and one interior shot of the Cole family home in Colegrove, a former Spanish land grant purchased by CA lawyer and legislator Cornelius Cole (1822-1924) and his wife, Olive Colegrove. The land was acquired from Henry Hancock, from the original Rancho La Brea, and was situated not far from where the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard & Vine Street now sit in Hollywood.
